High-pressure water cleaning for drain and sewer lines across Jacksonville and Onslow County, and the surrounding areas. Removes grease, sludge, scale, and root buildup that cable machines can't fully clear. The right method for heavy buildup and recurring problems.
A cable machine punches through grease but leaves the pipe walls coated; hydro jetting removes the actual grease
with significant buildup, scale, or root intrusion
that previous cleanings haven't resolved
with grease buildup downstream of the grease trap
that have developed organic buildup (when the system is a candidate)
clogged with leaves, dirt, and sediment
Pricing depends on the specific issue and what the work involves, and we always quote on-site, never over the phone. Estimates are free within Onslow County (a service fee may apply in surrounding-county areas). We offer a 10% discount for seniors and a 10% discount for military. If we find something once we take a closer look, we'll talk it through with you before moving forward.
A standard residential drain or sewer line jetting typically runs one to three hours on site. Commercial work or main-line jetting with heavy buildup runs longer.
Properly applied to a structurally sound pipe, no. Hydro jetting is designed to clean the pipe interior without damaging the pipe itself. The risk is when the method is used on pipes that are already compromised, such as cracked pipes, separated joints, or severe corrosion. This is why we camera-diagnose first on main-line work. If the pipe isn't a good candidate for jetting, we don't jet it.
Snaking with a cable machine physically breaks through and pulls back the clog with a flexible steel cable. It creates an opening but often leaves buildup on the pipe walls, which is why clogs come back. Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to clean the inside surface of the pipe, removing the buildup itself. For grease-heavy kitchen lines and main sewer lines with scale buildup, hydro jetting delivers significantly longer-lasting results.
Properly cleaned lines stay cleaner for substantially longer than snaked lines. Real-world durability depends on the line's underlying condition and the homeowner's habits (grease handling, paper products, etc.). For homes or commercial properties with a history of the same drain problem, jetting often delivers years of clean operation instead of months.
For older pipes in good structural condition, yes. For pipes that are already compromised by significant corrosion, separated joints, or cracked sections, hydro jetting can worsen the damage. This is why we camera-diagnose first on main lines.
