We don't recommend jetting without that evaluation.

How much does leach field line jetting cost?

Pricing depends on the specific issue and what the work involves, and we always quote on-site, never over the phone. Estimates are free within Onslow County (a service fee may apply in surrounding-county areas). We offer a 10% discount for seniors and a 10% discount for military. If we find something once we take a closer look, we’ll talk it through with you before moving forward.

Will jetting fix a failing drain field?

No. If the drain field itself has stopped accepting water, such as saturated soil, compacted soil, or a field design at end-of-life, jetting the lines will not address the underlying issue. We’ll be honest about what we’re seeing. If it’s a drain field problem, we’ll tell you and refer you to a qualified septic specialist for the right solution.

How often do leach field lines need cleaning?

Most well-functioning septic systems don't need leach field line jetting on a routine schedule. Jetting becomes appropriate when symptoms develop, such as slow drainage, occasional backups, or signs of restricted flow. Routine maintenance for septic systems is more about tank pumping (typically every 3-5 years) than line jetting.

Is jetting safe for older septic systems?

Properly applied to a system that’s a good candidate, yes. The risk is when jetting is used on systems with compromised lines or failing drain fields. In those cases, jetting can make problems worse. This is why we evaluate first.

Do you do septic tank work?

No. We do not install septic tanks or leach fields, and we do not pump septic tanks. Tank pumping, drain field repair, and full system replacement require a different licensing category, and we refer you to a qualified local septic specialist for that work. What we do offer is high-pressure line jetting to clear buildup within the leach field lines themselves.

What if my septic system has multiple issues?

Often septic problems come as a cluster, where line restriction, tank fullness, and drain field stress can all show up together. We handle the line jetting, refer the tank pumping and drain field work to a qualified septic specialist, and coordinate where the work boundaries overlap.

Do you offer a warranty on your services?

Yes. Ellis Elite Plumbing & Drains backs all services with a 30-day warranty. The two exceptions are toilet augering: residential toilet augering carries a 7-day warranty, and commercial toilet augering carries a 1-day warranty. If a covered problem comes back within the warranty period, call us and we will make it right.
